Brexit And My Former Divination On Scottish Independence

Today’s voting results in Britain in favor of Brexit portend a revival of the movement for Scottish independence and its victory since a significant majority of Scotland want to remain in the EU. In my post Reexamining My Divination On The Scottish Independence Vote published in this blog on September 20, 2014, I had observed:

“What about the symbolism of sage Kapila, the founder of the dualistic Samkhya system of metaphysics, in the divination?

I think that this symbolism was on the “right track” and corresponded to the fact that independence was the topic and issue of the divination and that there is a significant % of Scots aspiring for independence from the UK. I don’t think the recent vote has extirpated the independence movement in Scotland.”

And in my original  “Divination On The Scottish Independence Vote” published on September 12, 2014, I remarked on the symbolism of Sage Kapila:

“Let us consider, in closing, the symbolism of sage Kapila in this divination.

As I observed at the beginning of this piece, in the Hindu pantheon, the sage  Kapila holds the status of the creator of the Sāṃkhya (500 – 200 BCE) system of metaphysics in Indian philosophy. The central goal of this system of metaphysics is liberation or independence of the Puruṣa  or soul from its subjection or “bondage” to prakriti or nature.

At the beginning of the Sāṁkhyakārikā (400 – 500 CE), the central text of this school of metaphysical philosophy, there is an incisive discussion and defense, against powerful objections, of the possibility and feasibility of attaining liberation or independence.

Further, the Sāṃkhya system of metaphysics is dualist in that it countenances two eternal “categories” or “principles”, Puruṣa or soul and prakriti or nature.

I think that the symbolism of dualism in this context also shows that the outcome of the vote on Scottish independence next week is the existence of two nations, Scotland and England, rather than one United Kingdom.”

Perhaps, in retrospect, a good case could be made for the claim that the symbols of the initial divination did correctly indicate what would eventually transpire, namely Scottish independence, but not through the medium of the vote in 2014 on independence.

A Divination On The San Bernardino Shootings

The massacre yesterday at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California, was carried out by Syed Farook, 28, and his wife Tashfeen Malik, 27. It claimed fourteen victims and wounded seventeen. According to the police, the shooters were heavily armed and had “tactical attire”. The media report that “The motive is unknown.”

The following are the symbols manifested, by recourse to a random procedure, in this divination:

Planetary symbol: Mars, the Roman God of War

Element symbol: Fire

Agni, the fire god of Vedic Mythology: “the conveyor of sacrifices to the Gods” (Source: Wikipedia)

Agni, the fire god, with his consort Svaha

Guna or Quality: Tamas (Sanskrit: तमस् tamas “darkness”: “an attribute identified with darkness, dissolution, death, destruction, sub-conscious, dormant”)

It is astonishing that these are the symbols yielded by a random procedure for this divination. They completely correspond to and reflect the nature of the event in question.

Let’s start with Mars, the planetary symbol of the Roman god of war. It is well-known in astrological lore that Mars indicates anger, violence, cruelty, armed confrontation or battle, destruction by weapons, soldiers, militancy, militarism, and acts of war.

Mars also represents youth and the shooters were young, aged 27 and 28. The symbolism of Mars also suggests that the male shooter is the key figure in the massacre.

The symbolism of the fire element accentuates the indications of Mars in this divination. Fire and Mars, or Mars on fire, clearly reveal the explosive anger or rage underlying the decision to commit the massacre. Since Mars is the god of war, the massacre was intended as an act of war and is related to acts of war.

Enter the symbolism of the zodiacal sign Sagittarius represented by a centaurarcher in the posture of shooting an arrow from a bow, a weapon used traditionally in war and signifying an armed attack.  Sagittarius is also a “fiery sign” or a sign representing the element of fire. Thus we have the complex symbolism of Mars on fire in Sagittarius, a fiery sign.

All this symbolism signifies a deliberate and explosive act of violence akin to one performed in the context of a war. It also signifies injury or death in the course of a battle. The two shooters who committed the massacre were killed in a gun battle with the police.

Sagittarius is also classified in astrological lore as a “bicorporal or double body” sign suggesting that at least two persons were involved in planning and/or committing the massacre. Since it is a masculine sign, the astrological indications are that two men played a key role in planning and/or executing the massacre. The key symbols in this divination, Mars and Sagittarius, indicate masculinity and point to the central role of males in planning and/or bringing about the event.

Sagittarius is also a diurnal sign. This corresponds to the fact that the massacre was committed during daytime. It also corresponds to the fact that the shooters were killed during daytime.

In astrological lore, Sagittarius is a sign “ruled” by Jupiter, another indicator of masculinity or males. Jupiter signifies religiosity. The shooters were probably very religious.

The religious significations of Jupiter, in the context of the violence indicated by the symbolism of Mars, fire, and the sign Sagittarius, clearly point to the role of violence motivated by intense religious fervor and rage against denigration of one’s religion and its adherents. In short, the symbols in this divination show that the perpetrators likely believed that the massacre was justified as an act of war in defense of their faith.

Fire, in Vedic symbolism, is the medium of sacrificial offerings in religious rituals. It symbolizes piety and purity, but these qualities are warped and transformed into instruments of destruction by the symbolism of Tamas which signifies darkness, destruction, delusion, and ignorance.

Alchemy: symbol of fire

The fact that this symbol of fire is warped by the symbol of Tamas in this divination points to the likelihood that the perpetrators saw their murderous and destructive acts as a means of sacrifice and purification for religious ends.  The symbolism of fire suggests that this massacre was an act of religious terrorism.

In Vedic mythology, the fire god Agni does have a female consort, Svaha. This corresponds to the fact that the shooters in this incident were husband and wife.

It is also very interesting that in traditional astrological accounts, e.g., in “An Introduction to Astrology” by the astute English astrologer William Lilly (1602 – 1681), “Arabia Felix“, the Arabian Peninsula, including Yemen and Saudi Arabia today, are among the places assigned to the sign Sagittarius.

According to the latest media reports, “His co-workers said Farook, a Muslim, had traveled to Saudi Arabia recently and returned with Tashfeen Malik, a woman he had met online.”

This fact in conjunction with the astrological symbolism of Sagittarius which points to Saudi Arabia, and the Arabian Peninsula at large, tells us that the answers to some critical questions about the motives of Syed and Tashfeen are probably in Saudi Arabia. Since Jupiter signifies religious schools and religious indoctrination, it is likely that these individuals received “guidance” and “inspiration” in Saudi Arabia, or the Arabian Peninsula at large.

Sagittarius is also the “ninth house” from Aries, the “first sign” of the zodiac. In astrological lore, the “ninth house” signifies religious commitments and foreign lands. Again, there is an astrological synchronicity here pointing to machinations and inspirations, underlying this massacre, which have their roots in foreign lands.

Last, the symbolism of Tamas (Sanskrit: तमस् tamas “darkness”: “an attribute identified with darkness, dissolution, death, destruction, sub-conscious, dormant”). What this suggests is a veil of darkness behind which the motives which led to the massacre were nourished and developed. The factors which contributed to the decision to commit the massacre were dormant and hidden from others. There may well be “secrets” the murderers have taken with them to their graves.

Tamas also signifies inertia or failure to fully realize or execute power and capability. In this context, it reflects the fact that the attackers had the capability to slaughter far more people, but failed to realize this capability.

The symbolism of Tamas also suggests that ignorance and delusion, nourished by dormant hate and anger, and fueled by religious indoctrination and “guidance” from external sources, are the roots of this horrible tragedy.

P.S. It is important to note that the symbolism of Mars (war, violent attacks, aggression, revenge), the fire element (rage), and Sagittarius (centaur-archer aiming an arrow or a missile) also lends itself to the interpretation that this massacre had something to do with US aggression and missile strikes (sometimes killing many women and children attending wedding parties) in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, and the Arabian Peninsula.

Re-examining My Divination On The Scottish Independence Vote

In my divination on the referendum on Scottish independence, I had predicted that the “Yes” vote will win and that there is impending Scottish independence from the UK.

The results were contrary to my prediction that the “Yes” vote will win. The “No” vote won with 55.3% and the “Yes” vote lost with 44.7%.

Did I misinterpret the symbols manifested in the divination?

The astrological symbolism in the divination on the Scottish vote was:

Taurus rising with Mercury in the 10th house in Aquarius

I had acknowledged that the symbolism of Taurus showed the strength of the forces of conservation of Scotland’s position within the UK:

“Taurus is a fixed sign indicating that the present status of Scotland is “fixed” or stable, i.e., this symbolism points to its present and past entrenched condition in the United Kingdom.

Taurus also indicates the earth element and this symbolizes the strength of the forces of conservation of its present status of entrenchment in the UK, of the status quo.”

But I also said that “…in Vedic astrology,  Taurus is a prsthodaya sign, or a sign which rises with its hind parts first, indicating “success in matters of destructive, separative, or disintegrating nature“. Independence from the UK is a matter of separation.”

Here I made a mistake in thinking that the symbolism of the prsthodaya sign, or a sign which rises with its hind parts first, which indicates success in matters of separation, is strong enough to override the symbolic indications of the earth element, e.g., conservation of status, and the fixed nature of Taurus, implying success of the “No” vote or a vote against any radical change in Scotland’s present political status.

It also turns out that in Vedic astrological texts the symbolism of the prsthodaya sign, or a sign which rises with its hind parts first, is ambiguous.

For instance, in Daivajna Vallabha, a Sanskrit text on Vedic horary astrology, there is the view that if the ascendant or rising sign (signifying Scotland in this divination) is a prsthodaya sign, it indicates a negative answer to the question at hand, and implying, in this context, that the negative answer to the referendum question “Should Scotland be an independent country?” will prevail or take lead.

On the other hand, there is the interpretation I adopted, that a prsthodaya sign indicates success in matters of separation, destruction, termination, etc.

I also made a mistake in the interpretation of the crucial symbolism of the 10th house (signifying matters of state, including statehood) falling in the sign Aquarius, another fixed or immutable sign indicating the success of the “No” vote or a vote against any radical change from the present political status of Scotland.

I underestimated the significance of the fact that both the ascendant or the first house (signifying the status of Scotland) and the 10th house (signifying its political status) fall in fixed or immutable signs, Taurus and Aquarius respectively, and that this joint symbolism not only shows the strength of the forces of conservation of Scotland’s status within the UK, but their superior strength.

The twentieth century Russian-born French astrologer Alexandre Volguine was probably influenced by Vedic astrology in his emphasis on the significance of sign rulership, or the planets ruling the relevant signs. According to Volguine, a planet’s significations are modified, strengthened, or weakened by the status of its dispositor, i.e., the ruler of the sign in which the planet in question is located or “housed”.

In my divination, I overlooked the significations of the planetary rulers of the two critical signs, the ascendant or 1st house sign Taurus and the 10th house sign Aquarius.

Venus is the ruler of Taurus. Venus signifies union rather than separation.

Temple of Venus

Remains of the Temple of Venus in the Forum of Caesar, Rome.

Saturn is the ruler of Aquarius. Saturn signifies a cautious and conservative approach. It also signifies subordination rather than independence.

Temple of Saturn

Ruins of the Temple of Saturn (eight columns to the far right), Rome

On the symbolism of Mercury in Aquarius, I overlooked the significance of the conservative character of the sign ruler or dispositor, Saturn, and its constraining influence on Mercurial indications. I ought to have noticed that this conservative constraint of Saturn, the sign ruler of Aquarius, on Mercury implies that the “No” vote to a radical change in Scotland’s status will prevail over the “Yes”.

Further, the deity associated with Mercury in the Hindu pantheon is Vishnu, whose function is to preserve and protect, rather than to undermine or destroy, the order of things.

What about the symbolism of sage Kapila, the founder of the dualistic Samkhya system of metaphysics, in the divination?

I think that this symbolism was on the “right track” and corresponded to the fact that independence was the topic and issue of the divination and that there is a significant % of Scots aspiring for independence from the UK. I don’t think the recent vote has extirpated the independence movement in Scotland.

I will conclude by pointing out the synchronicity of the Scottish vote results with the numerological symbolism of Mercury and Saturn.

Mercury

A sculpture of Mercury

Mercury signifies the number 5.

There were a total of 32 local government areas involved in the voting.  In numerology, the number 32 can be reduced to 5 (3 + 2), the number signified by Mercury.

The “No” vote was 55.3 %. There are two 5’s in this figure!

That’s a dual occurrence of number 5, the number signified by the dualistic planet Mercury!

The “Yes” vote was 44.7%.

The number 44 can be reduced to 8 (4 + 4), the number of Saturn, the dispositor or ruler of the sign occupied by Mercury!

A Divination On The US Military Campaign Against ISIS (1)

What outcomes or consequences will the US face in its military campaign to destroy ISIS?

My attempt (on Saturday, Sept 13, 2014) at divining the answer to this question yielded the following symbols:

Astrological symbolism: Rahu, or the Lunar North Node, in Pisces in the 2nd house. Since Pisces is the second sign from Aquarius, this implies that Aquarius is the rising sign in this divination and represents the US.  It also implies that Ketu, or the Lunar South Node, is 180 degrees away in Virgo in the 8th house.

Thus, the astrological symbolism for this divination is:

Aquarius rising with Rahu, or the lunar north node, in the 2nd house in Pisces and Ketu, or the lunar south node, in the 8th house in Virgo

Hindu Deity Symbol: Varuṇa (the God of water, the ruler of oceans and seas)

It is remarkable that the astrological symbolism of Rahu, or the lunar north node, has manifested in this divination on ISIS!

Rahu

Rahu: Head of Demon Snake, Sculpture, British Museum

In Vedic or Indian astrology, Rahu represents the color black and rides a black lion!

ISIS fighters wear black uniforms.

ISIS fighters

The flag of ISIS is also black.

Rayat al-`Uqab, the "Eagle Banner"; also called the black flag of jihad

ISIS Black Flag of Jihad: Motto: باقية وتتمدد (Arabic) “Bāqiyah wa-Tatamaddad”  “Remaining and Expanding”

Most significant is the fact that in Hindu mythology, Rahu is an Asura or demonic being who was beheaded by the God Vishnu!

Rahu was in disguise in the company of Gods gathered to partake the celestial nectar of immortality. He was identified as an asura or demonic being by the Sun god and the Moon god.

God Vishnu unleashed his disc to behead Rahu, but the latter had already sipped the celestial nectar of immortality. So, when he was beheaded, the head (Rahu) and the rest of the body (Ketu) continued to exist as separate, but immortal entities.

God Vishnu beheading Rahu with his weapon Sudarshana chakra or disc.

It is superfluous to comment on the remarkable correspondence of this symbolism of Rahu-Ketu, a beheaded Asura or demonic being, to the recent beheading of American and British nationals by ISIS!

Rahu is a portentous astrological symbol in this divination on the US military campaign against ISIS.

In Vedic astrology, Rahu represents the south-western direction, black color, mountain summits, poison, policies which sow dissension, secrecy, deception, confusion, cruelty, turmoil, chaos, barbarians, hunters, beheading, kidnapping or abduction, litigation, law of karma, foreigners,  falsehood, pollution, political plots, robbery, accidents, Arabs, Muslims, rage, assassination, airplanes, aerial navigation, extremism, radicalism, and terrorism.

The 2nd house is also a portentous symbol in the context of this divination on the US military campaign against ISIS. It signifies the family (US residents and citizens) in the homeland and abroad, the economy or financial affairs, speech or communication, and fatality. In Vedic astrology, the 2nd house is a “Marakasthana”, or a house signifying death.

The presence of Rahu, a malefic planetary symbol, in the 2nd house does not bode well for the security of US residents and US citizens in the homeland (particularly the southwestern US) or abroad (the southwest direction generally and the southwest areas of Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan are dangerous for US forces and indicate the probable location of emerging threats to the security of US ) the trustworthiness of communication or information released on the military campaign, its objectives, its modus operandi, and its results, and the status of the US economy or its financial affairs.

I will explore further the symbolism of Rahu and its location in the sign Pisces in the next post.

A Divination On The Scottish Independence Vote

My attempt at divining the outcome of the vote on Scottish independence next week, Thursday, September 18, 2014, yielded the following astrological symbolism:

Mercury in Aquarius in the 10th House

This symbolism implies that the ascendant or “rising sign” is Taurus since Aquarius is the tenth sign from Taurus.

Thus, the astrological symbolism we need to interpret to divine the outcome of the vote on Scottish independence is:

Taurus rising with Mercury in the 10th house in Aquarius

Taurus

Taurus: Zodiac Symbol Bull; Zodiac Element Earth; Zodiac Quality Fixed; Sign Ruler Venus

Flying Mercury (late 16th-century) by Giambologna

Flying Mercury (late 16th-century) by Giambologna

Aquarius

Aquarius: Zodiac Symbol Water-Bearer; Zodiac Element Air; Zodiac Quality Fixed; Sign Ruler Saturn

My recourse to the symbolism of deities or divine beings in the Hindu pantheon yielded the sacred figure of sage Kapila, the founder of the great  Sāṃkhya (500 – 200 BCE) system of metaphysics in Indian philosophy, a system whose keynote is the liberation or independence of the Puruṣa,  or soul, or individual consciousness, from its “bondage” to prakriti  or nature, a “bondage” which is the function of the soul’s erroneous identification with prakriti or nature, including its identification with the physical body.

Kapila

Watercolor painting on paper of sage Kapila, the founder of the Sāṃkhya (500 – 200 BCE) school of Indian philosophy

We must first consider the astrological symbolism of the rising sign Taurus and the 10th house Aquarius.

Taurus is a fixed sign indicating that the present status of Scotland is “fixed” or stable, i.e., this symbolism points to its present and past entrenched condition in the United Kingdom.

Taurus also indicates the earth element and this symbolizes the strength of the forces of conservation of its present status of entrenchment in the UK, of the status quo.

This is accurate because there is significant opposition to independence from the UK. The latest ICM poll for the Guardian newspaper shows 42 % opposed to independence from the UK , 40 % in favor of independence, and 17 % undecided.

However, it is interesting to note that in Vedic astrology,  Taurus is a prsthodaya sign, or a sign which rises with its hind parts first, indicating “success in matters of destructive, separative, or disintegrating nature“. Independence from the UK is a matter of separation.

Aquarius is also a fixed sign, but it indicates the element of air symbolizing the forces of change from Scotland’s present entrenchment in the UK.

It is remarkable that the astrological symbolism of Aquarius has manifested in this divination on the vote on Scottish independence because the great English astrologer William Lilly (1602 – 1681) writes in his work Introduction to Astrology (1647) that:

this sign (Aquarius) has rule over affairs of state in England...”

William Lilly

Portrait of Lilly, aged 45, now housed in the Ashmolean Museum at Oxford

The upcoming vote on Scottish independence is clearly an “affair of state” in England!

In Babylonian mythology, Aquarius was associated with the god Ea (corresponding in Sumerian mythology to the god Enki who is depicted with waters flowing from his shoulders) who was often depicted with a vase overflowing with water.

It is astonishing to note that the god Enki was also associated with the planet Mercury in Sumerian astrology. In this divination, Mercury occupies the 10th house in Aquarius!

Enki (the god Ea in Babylonian mythology) one of the four primal Gods in Sumerian mythology

The main symbolism of Aquarius in Vedic or Indian astrology is “a water pot emptied on the shoulder of a man”. This pervasive Aquarius symbolism of the emptying of water from a container suggests escape or liberation from confinement or containment. The water escapes from the confines of the pot or pitcher and achieves its freedom of movement and flow.

I am inclined to interpret this symbolism of Aquarius as a sign of impending Scottish independence from the UK.

The fact that, in this divination, the 10th house falls in Aquarius (in astrology the 10th is the astrological “house” or sector governing status, including political status, and issues of state and statehood) only lends further support to this interpretation in favor of impending Scottish independence.

The Indian astrologer K. S. Krishnamurti (1902 – 1978) had an interesting view on the nature of the 10th house in the context of issues of marriage, partnership, alliances, unions, etc.

He argued that the 12th from any given astrological “house” (there are 12 astrological houses or domains corresponding to the 12 signs, but the location of each house in a sign is determined by the ascendant or the rising sign) undermines the significations of that house.

Indian astrologer K. S. Krishnamurti (1902 – 1978)

Thus, the 3rd house is the 12th from the 4th house. Hence, the 3rd house undermines the affairs signified by the 4th house. For instance, the 4th house signifies one’s home or residence. Since the 3rd house undermines the affairs of the 4th house, the 3rd house signifies change of residence or loss of residence.

The 10th house signifies employment. The 9th house is the 12th from the 10th house. So, the 9th house undermines the affairs of the 10th house and signifies, among other things, loss of employment.

In terms of K.S. Krishnamurti’s astrological analysis, the 10th house is the 12th from the 11th house. The 11th house signifies unions, alliances, partnerships, friendships, associations, inclusion or incorporation of an entity into a larger group, and so forth. Since the 10th house is the 12th from the 11th house, it undermines alliance, partnership, inclusion or incorporation, etc., and signifies separation and severance of an existing relationship.

Hence, the key symbolism of the 10th house in this divination also lends support to my astrological interpretation in favor of impending Scottish independence from the UK.

The remaining critical astrological symbolism to interpret is that of Mercury in the 10th house.

Mercury is a rapidly moving planet. This suggests that matters are in flux and rapid change in relation to the upcoming vote on independence. Since Mercury is also an elusive planet and signifies inconstancy and uncertainty, we may expect to see some fluctuations in the percentages of “Yes” and “No” votes, and uncertainty due to the percentage of undecided voters,  right up to the day of the vote on independence.

Mercury is also the “owner” of the dual signs of Gemini and Virgo. Gemini, of course, is symbolized by twins, duality, rather than a single entity. This suggests that the outcome of the independence vote will be “twins” or two entities, Scotland and England, rather than one entity, the UK.

Mercury is the chief astrological signifier of communication, including propaganda. Hence, the nature of the communication, inclusive of propaganda, directed at the “Yes” and “No” camps will play a decisive role in shaping the outcome. The current propaganda against a “Yes” vote is likely to backfire because of its fear tactics and emphasis on the threat of economic woes facing Scotland if it votes in favor of independence from the UK.

Mercury also signifies commerce and business undertakings and controversies pertaining to them. It is not surprising that issues of commerce and controversies pertaining to the actions of business groups have taken center stage in the debates on Scottish independence.

I think that Mercury, a signifier of the element of air, in Aquarius, a sign also representing the element of air,  accentuates the symbolism of air in this divination. This indicates that the winds of change and instability, in the form of Scottish independence, are about to strike “affairs of state in England”, to use William Lilly’s description of one of the significations of the sign Aquarius.

It is also interesting to note that in terms of the astrological transit of planets through signs, according to Vedic or Indian astrology, on Thursday, September 18, 2014, the Sun will be in Virgo, the sign of Mercury, and the Moon will be in Gemini, also a sign of Mercury!

I think that this is a strong portent of the realization of the symbolic significations of Mercury, all pointing to Scottish independence,  I have delineated.

Let us consider, in closing, the symbolism of sage Kapila in this divination.

I think that the symbolism of dualism in this context also shows that the outcome of the vote on Scottish independence next week is the existence of two nations, Scotland and England, rather than one United Kingdom.

Thus, the symbolism of sage Kapila shows that independence or liberation is not only the topic of this divination, but also that it is the impending outcome of the vote on Scottish independence next Thursday, September 18, 2014.

A New Divination Card On MH 370!

I did an “experiment” a few minutes ago with a pack of 52 divination cards, each representing a god or goddess in Hindu mythology and religion. I shuffled the cards and picked one with my eyes closed after focusing on the problem of what happened to MH 370.

Out of the 52 cards, I had picked the card representing Varuṇa वरुण (Malay: Baruna), the god of the water element, rivers, seas, and oceans! Varuna is also considered “a god of law of the underwater world” (Wikipedia). He is also the keeper of the souls of the drowned.

https://i0.wp.com/rlv.zcache.com/varuna_god_of_the_oceans_engraved_by_charles_eti_case-r176b3dce8b504712b39a0e7da9bc2675_a460y_8byvr_512.jpg

File:Rama-Varuna.jpg

Raja Ravi Varma Painting – ‘Rama Conquers Varuna’ (Rama is holding the bow and arrow)

This divination card of Varuṇa indicates again that MH 370 is in water and not on land.

Since Varuṇa indicates seas and oceans, this card supports my previous interpretation, based on the symbolism of Venus and Scorpio, that MH 370, or what remains of it, is submerged in a large body of water, a sea or an ocean.

I will examine this new symbolism of Varuṇa, or the God of the Oceans, in the next post.

Divining The Fate of Malaysia Airlines MH 370 (3)

Based on the astrological factors examined in the previous posts, we can surmise the following on the fate of MH 370:

1. The plane is submerged and hidden from sight in a body of water (Venus signifies water and Scorpio is a “watery sign” which also signifies what is underground or below the surface and hidden).

2. It is likely submerged in a long distance location (Venus indicates long distances and the southeast)  in the southeastern or southwestern (Ptolemy assigns the southwestern direction to Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces in his great work Tetrabiblos) direction from its home, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This gives us the southern end of the South China Sea, or Java Sea, or the Indian Ocean as its location.

3. Scorpio signifies a hole or cavern. In a vast body of water such as a sea or ocean, this could signify a deep trench. So, MH 370 may be submerged in a sea or ocean trench, or an area of Atolls. This implies that submarines and the use of sonar for detecting submerged vessels may be the best means of searching for MH 370.

4. Since MH 370 crashed and submerged in a remote location in a vast body of water, there are probably no survivors.

5. Venus indicates a fortnight in terms of duration. Hence, we should expect to find some evidence of the fate of the aircraft by Saturday, March 22, which is a fortnight from its disappearance on Saturday, March 8.

6. In Vedic or Indian astrology, Venus indicates two-legged creatures. Hence, the fate of MH 370 was not determined by non-human causes, e.g., mechanical failure, or a fire on board, but by human agency.

7. Venus is a male planetary deity in Hindu mythology (Venus is represented as a god also in Mayan and Aztec mythology). Therefore, a man played a key role in determining the fate of MH 370.

8. Venus gives us a profile of the person responsible for what happened to MH 370.  So, let us take a look at some of physical and personality characteristics signified by Venus, bearing in mind the role of the sign Scorpio in this context.

William Lilly, the 17th century English master of astrology, writes as follows about the “corporature” or physical appearance signified by Venus:

A man of fair but not tall stature, his complexion being white, tending to a little darkness (pale or wan complexion, yet with a dark hue) which makes him more lovely, very fair, lovely eyes, and sometimes black; a round face and not large, fair hair, smooth and plenty of it, and it is usually of  light brown colour…the face pretty fleshy, a rolling wandering eye, a body well shaped; one desirous of trimming and making himself neat and complete both in clothes and body; a love dimple in his cheeks (or chin)…full of amorous enticements.”

“Whoever is signified by Venus, whether man or woman, has a good and fair round visage, a full eye, usually we say goggle-eyed: red ruddy lips…the eyelids black…the hair of lovely colour, in some it is coal black, in others a light brown; a soft smooth hair; and the body extremely well shaped, even rather inclining to shortness than tallness.”

Lilly adds that “We have always observed that Venus causes dimples and a smiling face.”

9. Based on Lilly’s account of the “corporature” signified by Venus, we can surmise that the person mainly responsible for what happened to MH 370 has the following features:

10. For other indications on the person responsible for what happened to MH 370, we must turn to Vedic or Indian astrology.

For instance, in Vedic or Indian astrology, Venus indicates white apparel or clothing. This suggests that the chief perpetrator was wearing white clothing, probably a white shirt and/or pant.

Other significations of Venus in Vedic astrology include the following:

Black curly hair, “broad eyes” or eyes set apart broadly, artist or a patron of the arts, someone in an advisory or teaching position, a “playboy” or womanizer, someone with connections to the entertainment or gaming industry, someone who appears to have an easygoing temperament

Divining The Fate of Malaysia Airlines MH 370 (2)

In the previous post, I pointed out that Venus, the chief significator of my query on Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370, indicates the southeastern direction and that the sign of Scorpio indicates the northeastern direction.

This raises the issue of the reference point or location to determine these directions. What they are relative to?

One interpretation is to take the point of origin of the flight as the reference point and consider the areas northeast and southeast of that point of origin.

According to this interpretation, the flight path and/or current location of MH 370 is in the northeastern and/or southeastern direction from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The implication is that MH 370 must have taken one or both of those directions at different times. It also implies that the location of MH 370 is in either of those directions.

We know that the original course of the flight is the northeastern direction from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, toward Beijing, China. The last radio contact was off the coast of Kota Bharu in northeastern Malaysia, northeast also from the point of origin of the flight, Kuala Lumpur.

The South China Sea is in the northeastern direction from Kuala Lumpur, but the southeastern direction from Kuala Lumpur also gives us the South China Sea as the direction of flight and/or probable location of MH 370.

Another interpretation is to consider the directions in terms of latitude and longitude based on the World Geodetic System.

According to this interpretation the flight path and/or current location of MH 370 is in the area marked by world geodetic latitude N and longitude E and/or latitude S and longitude E.

In terms of this interpretation, the South China Sea is again one the areas of flight and/or probable location of MH 370 since it has the world geodetic coordinates of lat. N and long. E (the world geodetic Northeast).

It is interesting that the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea also have the geodetic coordinates of lat. N and long. E (the world geodetic northeast).

The Indian Ocean, however, has the geodetic coordinates of lat. S and long. E (the world geodetic southeast). This is the direction signified by Venus, the planetary significator of the fate of MH 370.

CNN reports today that:

A classified analysis of electronic and satellite data suggests that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 likely crashed either in the Bay of Bengal or elsewhere in the Indian Ocean, CNN learned Friday.

Divining The Fate Of Malaysia Airlines MH 370 (1)

I raised the question “What happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370?” in the evening on Monday, March 10, 2014, for the purpose of astrological divination.

My method of ascertaining, for the purpose of divination, the astrological symbols corresponding to the question on MH 370 yielded the following symbols:

Planet: Venus

Sign: Scorpio

In other words, the central astrological symbolism, corresponding to whatever happened to flight MH 370 and the contributing cause, is the planet Venus in the sign of Scorpio.

Venus, in Vedic astrology, is the “Vahana Karaka” and signifies different types of vehicles. Hence, the fact that the question pertains to the fate of a vehicle, an airplane, is reflected in the symbolism of Venus.

Venus also signifies the element of water, long distance, artists, women, romantic, sexual, and marital relations, financial gain, desire for publicity and luxury, and the southeast direction.

Given that Venus indicates the element of water, it is interesting to note that the contact with the airplane in question was lost when it was flying over water and it is suspected that it has crashed into a vast body of water.

Venus is the “ruler” of Fridays. Hence, we can expect significant developments in the search for MH 370 to happen on Fridays.

In Indian mythology, the legend of Shukra or Venus relates that he was blinded in one eye by the dwarf-sage Vamana, an incarnation of the Hindu God Vishnu.

This symbolism, in the context of this divination on the fate of MH 370, may well indicate a serious impairment (intentional or accidental) in the “eyes” of the airplane or its navigational system. The airplane must have been flying “half-blind” as it were.

Shukra or Venus was also initially the teacher of the Gods, but left them due to motives of vengeance to become the teacher of the Demons.

This suggests that whatever happened to MH 370 was the result of motives of vengeance.

Scorpio is an ominous sign in this context. It is also a watery sign and signifies what is hidden well below the surface of things literally and figuratively. It is the 8th sign and “house” of the zodiac and signifies secret plots or conspiracies, fatal accidents, disasters, death, and destruction.

Thus, flight MH 370 may well be a pawn in a plot or conspiracy.

In Vedic or Indian astrology, and in traditional Western astrology, Scorpio is ruled by Mars, the significator of conflict, aggression, war, and violence.

The notable astrologer “Sepharial” in his “Manual of Astrology” includes Scorpio in the category of “violent signs“, i.e., zodiacal signs which indicate violence. This suggests the likelihood of some form of violence as a contributing cause to the fate of MH 370.

Sepharial also thinks that Scorpio indicates drowning. The “watery nature” of Scorpio and Venus increases the likelihood that the passengers of MH 370 were drowned.

The places signified by Scorpio include hidden or secret locations, swamps, marshes, and areas full of poisonous and crawling, or creeping, creatures without wings. Scorpio also signifies the northeast direction.

The famous 17th century English astrologer William Lilly gives the following description of the significations of Scorpio:

“It is a cold , watery, nocturnal, northern, feminine sign; of the water triplicity; the house and joy of Mars; usually it represents subtle, deceitful men.”

“Places where all kinds of creeping beasts use…or such as be without wings and are poisonous; ruinous houses near waters, muddy, moorish grounds; stagnant lakes, quagmires, ponds.”

In Vedic or Indian astrology, the sign of Scorpio also signifies a hole or cavern and clearly indicates that the airplane is now hidden from sight. The fact that both the planet Venus and the sign of Scorpio in this astrological divination signify the element of water clearly suggests that the airplane is either submerged in a large or vast body of water or hidden in a location near a large or vast body of water.

Both Venus and Scorpio are “nocturnal” indicators, or signify the night. Hence, whatever happened to MH 370 occurred at night. It is noteworthy that contact with the plane was lost at night.

Since Scorpio is a fixed sign, a sign indicating immobility, the airplane is now immobile.
