Another Divination On MH 370 (1)

Last week, in light of recent news on the controversial search for MH 370, I did a new divination on its fate. The divination manifested the following symbolic elements: Bhūmī-Devī or the Hindu Earth goddess, Virgo as the rising sign with the ruler Mercury in the fourth house in Sagittarius, and the animal Ram.

Let us consider these new symbols carefully and relate them to the symbols of my earlier divination attempts.

1. Bhūmī-Devī or the Earth Goddess

Bhūmī-Devī, Consort of Varaha

Bhūmī-Devī, Consort of Varaha

What does this Earth goddess symbolize in the context of this divination? To understand this, we must turn to the salient features of the Hindu myth on Bhūmī-Devī, notably her connection to Varaha, an incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu.

According to the Hindu myth, Bhūmī-Devī or the Earth goddess was abducted by the demon Hiranyaksha and hidden in the depths of the primordial waters. Vishnu, the Hindu deity of protection and sustenance, incarnated in the form of a giant boar, Varaha, and plunged into the waters, killed the demon Hiranyaksha, and lifted up the Earth goddess.

Varaha stands on Nagas, rises from the waters with the earth (Bhudevi) on his elbow, National Museum, New Delhi.

Varaha stands on Nagas (serpent lords of underwater worlds), rises from the waters with the earth (Bhudevi) on his elbow, National Museum, New Delhi.

According to the earliest version of the Varaha myth found in the Vedic text Taittiriya Aranyaka, the earth was trapped in the depths of the primordial waters. In response, the creator-god Prajapati took the form of a boar, plunged into the primordial waters, lifted up the earth,  and restored it to its proper place.

This myth suggests that MH 370, or the bulk of what is left of it, is trapped somewhere in the depths of an ocean or sea. This is in accord with the symbol of Varuna, the god of the oceans, which manifested in an earlier divination attempt. MH 370, or the bulk of what is left of it, may be trapped in an underwater mountain ridge in the depths of an ocean or sea, e.g., the Indian ocean underwater mountain ridges, or the Java Sea Trench.

Thus, the symbolism of Bhūmī-Devī, in conjunction with the associated Varaha symbol, in this divination indicates that MH 370 is now on land, but land which is underwater, e.g., ocean floor or trench, sea floor or trench, or an underwater mountain.

The central role of the demon abductor Hiranyaksha in the myths of Bhūmī-Devī and Varaha suggests that the fate of MH 370 was determined by a person with malevolent intentions. It is likely that MH 370 was “abducted”, or hijacked, or commandeered by a person with malevolent intentions who was responsible for what finally happened to it. In just the way the mythological Hiranyaksha deliberately hid the earth goddess Bhūmī-Devī in the depths of the primordial waters, the individual who commandeered MH 370 deliberately took it to its final location. This is also in accord with the indications of my previous divination attempts on MH 370.

The name Hiranyaksha (Sanskrit: हिरण्‍याक्ष) means “golden eyed”. Amber is the eye color which corresponds to the symbolism of “golden eyes”. Amber eyes are distinct from hazel eyes. It is a rare eye color in humans.  According to a Wikipedia entry on eye color:

Amber eyes are of a solid color and have a strong yellowish/golden and russet/coppery tint. This may be due to the deposition of the yellow pigment called lipochrome in the iris. Amber eyes should not be confused with hazel eyes; although hazel eyes may contain specks of amber or gold, they usually tend to comprise many other colors, including green, brown and orange. Also, hazel eyes may appear to shift in color and consist of flecks and ripples, while amber eyes are of a solid gold hue. Amber eyes may also contain amounts of very light gold-ish gray.”

2. The Symbol of Ram

The animal symbol of Ram manifested in this divination.

The Ram is a sacrificial victim in the Old Testament myth of Abraham’s sacrifice:

“Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son [Isaac]” Gen 22:10-13

The Ram is also a victim of sacrifice in a Greek myth. In this Greek myth, the Ram flies over the oceans carrying Phrixus and his sister Helle on its back. Helle disobeyed the command not to look down and fell headlong into the sea and perished. On his arrival at the intended destination, Phrixus sacrificed the Ram and hung its fleece in the Grove of Ares, the Greek god of untamed violence, destruction, and war.

As Manilius, the first century Roman poet and astrologer, puts it in his Astronomica, a classic work of astrology in five books of verse:

“(the Ram) once furrowing a trail through the glassy sea,

he tinged it with the gold of his fleece,

when on his back he carried Phrixus,

bereft of his sister (Helle) by fate’s decree,

and brought him to the banks of the Phasis and to Colchis”. [Astronomica, Manilius, 1st century AD, book 4, p.233].

A sacrifice is an intentional and purposive act. The Ram’s association with sacrifice suggests that MH 370 was “sacrificed” to achieve a purpose.

In ancient Egyptian religion, several gods were associated with the Ram. The foremost was Khnum, God of creation and the waters. In ancient Egyptian art, he is represented as a water god or a deity governing the element of water. He was also worshipped as the god of  the source of the Nile river.

Heryshaf (Egyptian Ḥry-š=fHe who is on his lake“) is another god whose symbol is the Ram. In Egyptian mythology, he originated in the primeval waters and also holds the title “Ruler of the Riverbanks”. Again, we have another deity associated with water.

In astrology, the Ram is the symbol of Aries, a sign ruled by Mars, the Roman god of war, aggression, and violence.

The Ram itself  is obviously a creature of land rather than water. Does this mean that MH 370 is on land somewhere? As I have suggested earlier, if it is on land, it is on underwater land, on the ocean or sea floor, or on an underwater ocean mountain ridge.

In Chinese astrology, the Ram corresponds to the goat (). It represents the earth element and indicates the southern and southeastern directions. The Chinese year of the goat will run from Feb 2015 to Feb 2016. This may well constitute the time frame in which the remains of MH 370 may be discovered.

In the next post, I will address the important astrological symbolism of Virgo rising with its ruler Mercury in the fourth house in Sagittarius.

A New Divination Card On MH 370!

I did an “experiment” a few minutes ago with a pack of 52 divination cards, each representing a god or goddess in Hindu mythology and religion. I shuffled the cards and picked one with my eyes closed after focusing on the problem of what happened to MH 370.

Out of the 52 cards, I had picked the card representing Varuṇa वरुण (Malay: Baruna), the god of the water element, rivers, seas, and oceans! Varuna is also considered “a god of law of the underwater world” (Wikipedia). He is also the keeper of the souls of the drowned.

This divination card of Varuṇa indicates again that MH 370 is in water and not on land.

Since Varuṇa indicates seas and oceans, this card supports my previous interpretation, based on the symbolism of Venus and Scorpio, that MH 370, or what remains of it, is submerged in a large body of water, a sea or an ocean.

I will examine this new symbolism of Varuṇa, or the God of the Oceans, in the next post.

Divining The Fate Of Malaysia Airlines MH 370 (6)

Scorpio is the key sign in our attempts to divine the fate of MH 370.

There is a Greek myth pertaining to Scorpio which is important to our divination.

According to this myth, Orion, the great hunter, boasted about his power to slay any creature on earth. In response, and to subdue his pride, Gaia, the earth goddess, sent a giant scorpion to slay him. A battle ensued, but Orion was stung by the scorpion and killed. Artemis made a plea on behalf of the dead hero to Zeus, the chief of the gods. Zeus raised both Orion and the scorpion and put them up opposite each other among the stars. So, even today when Scorpio rises in the heavens, Orion descends in flight from it.

Orion and Scorpio

In the context of our divination, this myth suggests that MH 370 was part of an actual or impending conflict or attack.

IF MH 370 became an “attack scorpion” in the hands of someone, then who was its target and the equivalent of Orion?

On the other hand, if MH 370 was itself the victim of an “attack scorpion” sent by someone, then who (or what) was the “attack scorpion” and who sent it?

P.S. It should also be noted that Ptolemy’s great work on astrology, the Tetrabiblos, assigns the southwest direction to the “water triplicity” signs, i.e., Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. In the context of the fate of MH 370, this implies the southwestern direction from the point of its origin, Kuala Lumpur, and includes the southwest Indian ocean.
